My next door neighbor's daughter, Julie and I got together yesterday to shoot some senior pics for her. Shes graduating next month with a bachelors from Texas A&M Corpus Christi..... the wind and the drizzle rain rolled in so we will have to continue these today............

I got a call Friday Morning from a groom named Eddie. Even though it was the 11th hour before his wedding ceremony he wanted to know if I could go out Friday night and shoot his small bayfront wedding ceremony. So with 7 hour notice I headed out and was fortunate enough to shoot this beautiful couples small intimate wedding.

except this one is my next door neighbor and shes receiving a bachelor's degree in Health Science. So thats what Ill be doing tommorow afternoon.... Looking forward to a NON stranger session and she beautiful to boot :)

The Mitchell Family

Over easter weekend, we went to Houston to be with family. We took some time out to return a favor to a dear friend who took our family portraits. I love ya Lo :) thanks for being an amazing friend!

Homecoming. Through OPLOVE Reunited. I got contacted to help with the welcoming home of the 115 Soilders who where depolyed to Iraq. I was more then happy to give back to these soilders who do so much for us:

Making Manuel Mode Work ....

in my favor. I was a mission last night. My "borrowed" XT and me havent been that great of friends but I was determined last night to figure out how to change settings and make it work for me....

So nothing spectacular just some shots while C was taking a bath, I occupied my time by practicing....

A Boy & His Dog

Berkley #2 is now 7 months old and outweighs and is taller then my 5 year old female black lab. OYE! BUT as the title says he is Colton's dog.



Colton got a trampoline for Christmas. Sahara the black lab can often be found in the trampoline with Colton. Berkley #2 just figured out he can climb the stairs to and get in the trampoline.



Unfortunatly Berkley #2 is alittle scared to come down the steps. So he sits in the trampoline and howls, barks whines about how he can not get out. ITs quite entertaining. Except for 3 am this morning when he ventured in and couldnt get out.
But yesterday afternoon we all had a good laugh for about 30 mins trying to coax him out. Even Penny the dauschand went up and tried to teach him how to come down the steps.

Gone MIA

Just been busy with "Life"

My sissy came for a visit for a week. And It was so great to have them and her "new" Family home. I hate to see them leave and cant wait to visit again!

And Home Improvement Projects. We are turning the garage conversion into a studio, now I Just have to master the set up and finish it up. Ohh and we now have beautiful hardwood floors in the house (refinished)




Oh and my XSI is at Canon Repair Center in Newport News VA Getting fixed WAHHHHHHH but luckily Lo has lent me her back up so I can still function :) Dont you wish you had a great friend like I do...

I found this desk and "stole" it I cant wait to do something with it other then Colton :)


So in short: My Camera is broken I want it back :)

Nicole is turning the famous Sweet Sixteen. And on Decemember 20th this sweetheart is having one heck of a bash! My dear friend Lo will be flying in from houston to help me capture all the memories:

since I was shooting my dear friends neice for her sweet sixteen I killed two birds with one stone and shot her kiddos as well Here are a few of my favorites:

I think my laptop...

has finally kicked the bucket. I worked all day yesterday in trying to restore it but nada! Its only a few years old. WAAAHHHHH! I might take it to the computer repair place and have them bring her back to life, but Im afraid she will never be able to do what I need her to do for editing pictures.



SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO black friday couldn't come soon enough. I recently bought myself a hot HP for the shop that I adore. Shes going to come home with me since Ive already loaded all my plug ins for my Photoshop CS3 and on black friday Ill brave the crowds and buy a new computer for the shop ;)



We pretty much did NOTHING all weekend and it felt SOOOO good. I even took a 2 hour nap yesterday.

Im going to go down to a new Studio today at some point and meet with a local photographer and see what sort of lenses he is selling. Im in the market for a few and rumor has it he has them for a good price so we shall see.

I need a place to document my trials and errors.

I have alittle over a month to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE before my first shoot that doesn't involve friends and family. So until then I'll be shooting anything thats not quick enough to get out of the way of my lense.

Berkley, My dear dear 16 week old lab. He moves quicker then my three year old, but he cant yell at me to "STOP!"




Learning Photoshop for Pictures is completely different then learning it for Graphic Design. Suprisingly!

My Dear Son! Only likes his picture taken on his terms!




And if all else fails! I can always shoot nature ;)
